    New Guy...Resolution issue. *SOLVED*

Post by Jarhead0331 on Sun Feb 11, 2018 1:49 am

I installed STA3.2 and everything looks good until the game loading screen gets to about 12%...then the screen shifts and the resolution is off. Some of the menu buttons are in places I cannot access or see. I also get a popup menu screen telling me the game cannot detect my video card and I should choose the option "No video mode restrictions", or something like that. I have tried both the 5:4 and 16:9 aspect mods and there is the same issue with both. I would try the 21:9 but it is PW protected. I also  applied the 4G patch.

    Help!

    Thanks.

OK...well, changing my desktop resolution to 1920x1080 solved the problem. Its a 42" 4K monitor...I guess the game doesn't like that anything that fancy.

Now...if only I can figure out the controls.

It takes time, just keep at it and use the manual. You'll get it!
