It is a good mission! But i see u've wrong aspect of the monitor, coz a gunsight reticle looks with distortion. It is nor a perfect circle.

Hmm, I thought I had the 16:9 mod enabled. Resolution for the monitor is 1920x1080. ??? What a Face

Here we're with a new great video by Geoweb35!
I've to confess, I've managed to finish this mission only at the balance "1"  Laughing
I see also that SU-85 should has an infantry desant - 5 soldiers would be enough.

    Perhaps, it's optic distortion?

Nice video! "Puma" is my favorite of the light APC!
I've made this mission in a very hard manner! Have to say I didn't expect that u've moved er squadron outside of the village! Shocked
I was sure u should had taken the defence inside the area! And I have to confess - u've found the weakest side of the mission Smile Well done!

    PS
Wanted to see the new ersatz-cockpit of the Puma thumbsup

New mission based on Rends Barbarossa (more beefed up, more realistic to the initial stages of the war):

    "Schwerpunkt" - Day One

Watch for the two KV-1's to show up.....very hard to kill. I had "extra" tungsten rounds in my tank...

And I see you have the wrong gunsight reticle. It should look like a round, but in your case it looks like eggs. Could u upload an image with er installation order? It think smth. wrong.

I think he has tinkered with the aperture values of the gunsight in the sight_cfg file... from 2.2 or 2.4 down to 1.8?

"Schwerpunkt" - Day One is a remake of Rends Barbarossa campaign, so it's the Rends1.polypack. I just added the overwhelming firepower the Germans had at the beginning of the war. Trying to remake the next step (an envelopment attack using the same map), "Schwerpunkt" - Day One later AM, but I need another tutoring session to try and put new text and triggers in it....the old Rends text keeps coming up, i.e., "devensive", when what I want is an advance text and new location goal. I try and have most of the forces go up the road around the Soviet line (flanking attack), but they want to attack directly, especially the infantry, and they get mowed down by the Soviets.

The overall goal is mimic the envelopment attacks that were so successful in the early days.

Regarding the oval shape of the gunsight, I have no clue. I have not modified the cfg files for the gunsight. I will take a screenshot of my desktop mod order at home later and post it.

"Hold Your Ground" would be an interesting campaign, esp. late war with dwindling Germans numbers on the defensive taking high casualties, yet inflicting even more on the Soviets. That's kind of what I wanted from the mission, but in my mission the German tanks firing from set positions took out way more tanks than I thought was realistic. Becomes an arcade game...

Hmm, I don't think so, as I don't even know where that file is! Shocked Maybe "sight_aspect" in common? I haven't changed anything, and can't fine the Pz III G there...assuming it's generic for the Pz III, but I haven't modified anything.

I think the problem maybe my desktop settings, game is 1920x1080?, I think, and the resolution setting for the monitor is the same.

Yes I meant the sight_ aspect file. What aspect ratio do you have in your configuration file.
